APPROVAL OF THE TITLE I PART A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR PARTICIPATING ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Description
ENTITLEMENT: Grant funds of $6,243,700.00 provides supplemental resources to participating schools to assist in meeting the academic needs of their students in the areas of math, reading, and science. Participating elementary schools: Alta Vista, Brentwood, Emma E. Booker, Glenallen, Gocio, Toledo Blade, Tuttle, and Wilkinson.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Title I Part A grant application.
